   Commercial kitchen equipment is generally made of stainless steel material. 304 grade material is non-magnetic stainless steel and non-magnetic. 304 stainless steel is the most widely used type of chromium nickel stainless steel. As a widely used steel, it has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature strength, and mechanical properties; Good hot workability for stamping, bending, and other processes, with no heat treatment hardening phenomenon (operating temperature -196 ℃ to 800 ℃). Choosing 304 stainless steel material will definitely prevent rusting? Commercial kitchen equipment, due to its high usage rate, often experiences collisions and friction on the surfaces of utensils and equipment. As a result, the panels are thicker than the back and surround panels, and stainless steel surfaces are also treated to improve their performance. The commonly used processing method is wire drawing. Stainless steel wire drawing refers to the appearance of a silky texture on the surface of stainless steel, which appears matte. Upon closer inspection, there is a slight texture on the surface, but it cannot be felt. Moreover, it looks more upscale.

   There are also many types of stainless steel wire drawing treatments, with the most common being straight and irregular lines, as well as ripples and threads.

   1. Stainless steel wire drawing with straight lines: This type of wire drawing treatment is very common and relatively simple to process. The result of processing is the formation of many linear patterns on the surface, which not only enhances aesthetics but also effectively eliminates some scratches on the surface of stainless steel plates, making it very practical.

   2. Stainless steel wire drawing wrinkles: The generation of wrinkles is relatively complex. When viewed up close, stainless steel wire drawing wrinkles are irregular wrinkles. However, when observed from a distance, it can be found that these are all a combination of sand wrinkles in circles, and the effect is very beautiful.

   3. Stainless steel wire drawing ripple: As the name suggests, after being treated with wire drawing ripple, the surface of stainless steel will form many wavy patterns, which not only have a beautiful appearance but also improve wear resistance to a certain extent.

   4. Stainless steel wire drawing thread: Compared to other wire drawing treatment processes, the processing of stainless steel wire drawing thread is very unique. After this processing, the surface of stainless steel forms many thread patterns of the same width, which looks very regular. However, due to the high difficulty of processing, not many people adopt this process. Through the characteristics of brushed stainless steel mentioned above, it is not difficult to see that after drawing, stainless steel can provide aesthetic and wear resistance.

   In summary, the surface of equipment made of brushed stainless steel is matte, making it less likely to leave obvious fingerprints. Compared to ordinary stainless steel, it will leave fewer scratches. Therefore, it is recommended that when choosing commercial kitchen equipment, 304 brushed stainless steel should be chosen as much as possible.

   Composition of stainless steel 201 and 304

   1. Specifications: Commonly used stainless steel plates are divided into two types: 201 and 304. In fact, the composition is different. 304 has better quality, but the price is expensive, and 201 is slightly inferior. 304 is an imported stainless steel plate, and 201 is a domestically produced stainless steel plate.

   2. Different useful steels: 201 is composed of 17Cr-4.5Ni-6Mn-N, which is a type of Ni steel and a substitute for 301 steel. After cold processing, it has magnetism and is used in railway vehicles.

   3. Different applications: 304 is composed of 18Cr-9Ni, which is the most widely used stainless steel and heat-resistant steel. Used in food production equipment, Xitong chemical equipment, nuclear energy, etc.

   4. 201 has a high manganese content and a bright surface with a dark luster. It is prone to rusting due to its high manganese content. 304 contains a lot of chromium, with a matte surface and no rust. The two are compared when placed together. The most important thing is that the corrosion resistance is different. The corrosion resistance of 201 is very poor, so the price is much cheaper. Also, because 201 contains low nickel, the price is lower than 304, so the corrosion resistance is not as good as 304.
